Who we are
Maeven Flower is a boutique floral studio based in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it and what we do with it. For any privacy enquiries please email megan@maevenflower.co.uk.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, recipient name, delivery address, contact number, email and gift message.
- Payment information is handled by our payment processor (Shopify Payments / Stripe). We do not store card details on our servers.
- Communications you send us via email or our enquiry forms.
- Basic technical data (browser type, pages visited) collected by analytics cookies to help us improve the site.
How we use your information
- To prepare and deliver your order, including passing the recipient's details to our delivery driver.
- To respond to enquiries about weddings, funeral tributes and bespoke arrangements.
- To send order confirmations and delivery updates by email.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
We will never sell your data. We do not send marketing emails unless you have opted in.
Who we share data with
We only share data with trusted providers we use to run the studio: Shopify (e-commerce platform & payments), our email provider, and our delivery driver. These providers are bound by their own data protection commitments.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. Email us and we'll action requests within one calendar month.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to keep your cart working and to understand how the site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not work as a result.
